The Bio Snacky Mini Greenhouse (3-tier Germinator) The Mini Greenhouse allows you to grow 3 types of seeds simultaneously. Alternatively, it lets you grow the same seeds at different stages-giving you a continuous supply of fresh sprouts. Easy to use and made from ecologically friendly food-safe acrylic material. To Use: - Measure out the required amount of seeds.
- Place in seive and rinse thoroughly in fresh cold water.
- Soak the seeds for approximately 12 hours.
- After soaking, rinse seeds thoroughly.
- Place in the germinator, ensuring the seeds are evenly spread and not cramped. Also ensure the water is free to drain away.
- Place the germinator in a well lit spot, ideally near a window but not in direct sunlight. Room temp. should be between 18-22oC
- Water twice daily.
- Your sprouts should be ready to be eaten after four to five days.
- Your sprouts can stay fresh inthe fridge for up to five days. They may need to be rinsed occasionally during this storage period to stop them them rottong or becoming mouldy.
After each use wash the germinator thoroughly in warm, soapy water. Alternatively, BioSnacky germinators are dishwasher safe. Can be used with any of Our Own or Bioforce seeds, beans or pulses for sprouting. Weight for weight, sprouted seeds contain more nutrients than any other natural food known to man. Enough to rival even the best supplement pills available. Sprouts are very young plants, one stage up from seed. They contain high concentrations of valuable enzymes, proteins, minerals, trace elements and natural vitamins. During germination, there is a sharp increase in the vitamin content of sprouts. They also contain excellent fibre that is beneficial to the intestines and regulates the digestive process. Since they grow right up to the moment they are picked, virtually no nutrients are lost.
Beneficial to those who don’t have their recommended five a day and those who do but desire extra quantities of health-promoting nutrients.
