Britaxan™ contains Astaxanthin, a powerful carotenoid which is a naturally-occurring compound of the micro algae, Haematococcus pluvial is. These algae form a vital part of the natural food-chain. Each Britaxan™ vegetarian capsule contains 4mg of ZANTHIN® standardized Astaxanthin complex, providing 3.6mg of Astaxanthin.
Antioxidants have been shown to help protect the body against the action of free oxygen radicals, which in excess may cause cell damage. Increased levels of free radicals can be associated with stress, atmospheric pollution, UV rays and other environmental exposures, and may be exacerbated by a lack of balanced diet.
Antioxidants such as Astaxanthin “scavenge” these excess free radicals, and thus help to maintain cell and tissue integrity and assist in maintining health and wellbeing.
As an antioxidant, Astaxanthin has been calculated to be 10 times as active as Beta Carotene, and 500 times as active as Vitamin E.

Directions:
Take one capsule per day with morning meal.

Fill: Extra virgin Olive Oil, Zanthin® Standardised Astaxanthin Complex (Astaxanthin 3.6mg, Lutein, Beta-Carotene, Canthaxanthin).
Shell: Glycerine USP, Modified Starch, Carrageenan, Disodium Phosphate.
