Agnus Castus may be beneficial for the symptoms of Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and Period Pain and for the treatment of Teenage Acne.

Bioforce Agnus Castus (Chaste Tree) 50ml

Application:

• Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
• Teenage acne
• Period pain

Agnus castus acts on the pituitary gland to increase the secretion of luteinising hormone, which leads to an increase in the production of  progesterone during the second half of the menstrual cycle. It has also been reported to inhibit prolactin.

Both these actions are thought to be important in PMS, particularly as many who suffer form the problem have a greater sensitivity to prolactin. Angus castus has also been found to be beneficial in the treatment of acne in both men and women.

Ingredients:
Tincture of Agnus castus (Chaste Tree) dried fruit, extracted in alcohol (69% v/v).

Directions for use:
Adults: 15-20 drops in a little water twice daily.
Children: This product is not recommended for children under 14 years of age
