Cynara (Globe Artichoke) may help Reduce Blood Cholesterol and Lipid Levels through its action on the Liver.

Bioforce Cynara (Globe Artichoke) 50ml

Applications

Cynara has a bitter taste due to the presence of cynaropicrin and cynarin, which are found only in the green parts of the plant. They have very specific properties, protecting and enhancing liver function in a way similar to silymarin which is found in Milk Thistle.

Cynara also contains a group of compounds known as phenolic acids which have the ability to reduce blood cholesterol and lipid levels through their action on the liver.

Ingredients:
Tincture of organically grown fresh Cynara scolymus (Gloge Artichoke) leaves, extracted in alcohol (66% v/v).

Directions for use:
Adults: 20drops 2 to 3 times daily, in a little water.
Maintenance: 20 drops 1 to 2 times daily, in a little water.
Children: This product is not recommended for children.
Medical advice should be sought with acute and severe liver complaints such as hepatitis and biliary tract occlusion.
