Bioforce Valerian-Hops Complex 50ml

The tranquillising action of Valerian has been attributed to a number of components, including a group of compounds known as valepotriates, which have been shown to possess an ability to calm the nerves.

Valerenic acid, found in Valerian, inhibits the breakdown of GABA, which is a chemical transmitter that decreases nervous system activity. Increasing GABA levels in this way helps people who find it hard to switch off, and promotes good sleeping patterns.

In addition, a number of other constituents in Valerian have been shown to possess antispasmodic activity in muscles.

Ingredients:
Contains the tinctures of: Valeriana officinalis* (Valerian) dried root 50% and fresh Humulus lupulus* (Hops) herb 50%
Alcohol contrnt: 61% v/v.
* Organically grown.

Directions for use:
Adults: 20-30 drops in a little water half an hour before bedtime.
Children (2-12 years): 1 drop per year of age in a little water or juice half an hour before bedtime.
This product is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.
