About Silk Firming Serum
proto-col Silk Firming Serum is a luxury anti-ageing plant-based treatment made from the highest quality ingredients. It acts to nourish, protect and firm the skin. It is ideal for mature skin as it improves circulation and contains anti-ageing ingredients such as sea fennel, papaya and plant derived collagen to help reduce the appearance of those fine lines and wrinkles. The Silk Firming Serum contains anti-oxidants and protects skin against free radicals and pollutants as well as having a built-in sunscreen.
Key ingredients and their properties:
Fresh Royal Jelly one of the worlds most potent natural antibiotics and contains some 20 odd amino acids essential for the protein content in the skin.
Aloe Vera soothing and healing, and is also of benefit to dry, chapped skin or dermatitis sufferers.

Application:
Thoroughly cleanse and tone the skin, then apply over entire face and decollete on a daily basis for maximum results. Work a small amount of the product in an upwards direction from the base of the neck paying particular attention to the delicate under eye area. Be sure to work the product thoroughly but gently into the key target areas.
How often should I use the Silk Firming Serum?
The Serum should be used on a daily basis and can be used both in the morning and at night for optimum results. Some people notice and the effects of the Serum almost immediately. Most people will notice an improvement in their skin condition within 30 days when using the Serum daily. The amount of skin improvement will depend upon age, skin type and previous exposure to ageing factors such as UV rays and wind.
Can I use the Serum as a make-up base?
The Silk Firming Serum is an excellent moisturising treatment and some people are happy to apply makeup on top of the treatment after allowing it to dry. However, we would advise that a product such as the proto-col Coral & Collagen Moisturiser would be a better make-up base as it is designed for this use, rather than being a specific anti-ageing skin treatment.
Does the Silk Firming Serum contain any sunscreen?
Yes. The treatment contains a natural built-in sunscreen to protect your skin. However it is not a sun block or tanning cream and should not be used as such.
Can anyone use the Silk Firming Serum?
Yes. As with the rest of the proto-col range, this product has been formulated to suit even sensitive skin types.
