Efamol Pure Evening Primrose Oil is a rich source of the polyunsaturated fatty
acid GLA. It provides GLA in the form most effectively absorbed and utilised by
the body.
GLA controls the body's production of prostaglandins, chemical messengers that
help to regulate many of the body's processes including the reproductive cycle
and the maintenance of hormonal balance.
For smooth, healthy-looking skin
GLA is also an essential element of the skin structure and is needed for smooth,
healthy looking skin.
Suggested daily intake
2 capsules per day with food (500mg), 1 capsule per day with food (1000mg), 1 x
5ml (1tsp) of lemon and lime liquid per day with food, 16 drops(1.25ml or 0.25
tsp) of 30ml liquid per day with food
Taking this product for the first time
6 x 500mg or 3 x 1000mg capsules or 3 x 5ml (150ml liquid) or 2.5ml (30ml
liquid) per day with food for the first 12 weeks to help optimise the body's
stores of essential fatty acids. After this time a lower intake is sufficient to
maintain the body's levels.
