Aqua Oleum Chamomile Roman Essential Oil 10ml

The essential oil is produced from the mature flowering heads, and its daisy-like white flowers are larger than the Blue or German chamomile. The odour is reminiscent of mild sweet apples and colour can either be water white or a light blue. Chamomile is derived from the Greek word Kamai meaning ‘on the ground’ and Melon meaning ‘apple’. Only in the last 50 years or so has Roman Chamomile received the recognition it deserves medically, but it is now highly regarded for its therapeutic properties. Chilean oil, the market leader, is light blue in colour, whereas the English distilled oil is water white. Most of the English distilled oil is exported to the USA and is almost double the price of the South American oil.
