Mockett’s Wood, behind the Co-Op Supermarket near St. Peter’s Church, was designed as a Botanical Garden in the style of a Victorian Arbetorum early in the 20th Century and at least 18 different species of trees remain. For this reason, and because it still retains a diversity of natural plants and wildlife ecosystem, it is regarded as an important nature conservation feature here on our doorstep. When you come to visit us at Herbs, Gardens & Health, why not park in the car park and take a stroll through the Woods to us?

The Car Park is just round the corner from St. Peter’s Church, St. Peter’s, Broadstairs, Kent. If you do not want to walk through the Woods you can usually park right outside Herbs, Gardens & Health, in Northdown Road.
